Will The Real Christ Please Stand Up? Pt. 4

I want you to know that while this title is a play on words that has been taken from an old television show called ‘Truth or Consequences, it does contain some very serious considerations, and hopefully it means something real to all of us.

2 Corinthians 11:4 For, if he that comes preaches another Yahshua, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted; you might well bear with him. (In other words, you will suffer the consequences)

In recent past writings, I have attempted to expose falsehoods and error in an attempt to overthrow some of the myths and mixture that have crept into the body of Messiah. The challenge is how to do so without contributing to the hurt, confusion and disillusionment that is crippling the body of Messiah right now. That said, I do not pretend to have all of the answers, nor have I arrived at any concrete conclusions concerning our current dilemma; but I am going to address some things that have even greater potential for destruction if they are not dealt with in this hour. However, if we receive this admonition, we will be able to correct our course, and steer back onto the path of life and truth.

I have been praying about the revolutionary mindset of reformers, and how far we should go in speaking to these issues. The ongoing challenge is, saying what He is saying, and doing what He is doing… I think that we can all agree that in some way we envy the life-witness and testimony of the First Century Ekklesia, and we long for the day when the testimony of our lives will be journaled in a way that will witness to future generations.

Some of us have come to understand that this thing called ‘The Holy Bible’ has been so highly venerated in the hearts and minds of many believers, that it is powerless to produce any real life transformation, and has unfortunately become just another lifeless idol on the coffee table. Their religion based belief system is what is hindering their forward and upward progress in the Kingdom of Yahweh, and what they believe to be true is what is limiting their Spiritual Growth. The Holy Bible and Doctrine have actually served to hinder their ability to hear the voice of the Spirit within the Scripture. If they cannot hear the voice of the Spirit within the Scripture, then they are going to be spiritually challenged and have a hard time hearing the voice of the Spirit within the revealed Word that Yahweh is speaking today through His oracles.

This religious mindset has also limited their understanding to whatever translation of the Bible, or interpretation of the Scripture that they may embrace. They have come to believe that The Holy Bible in itself is the only truth that they need to navigate through life in general, and when they die, they will get to go to Heaven.

Others have resorted to searching the Scriptures daily for the next hint or clue that might unlock the mystery of life. They use the latest edition of ‘The Bread of Life’ to determine their next step in life. It is like using a verse of scripture as an astrological forecast concerning their future. ? They believe that all of the direction they will need in life, can be found in The Holy Bible, and that by discovering the right scripture verse, they will be able to better direct the affairs of their lives in the future. They have been taught that The Holy Bible is the only and Last Word of God ever spoken, and that it must be handled and presented in a way that does not contradict or compromise what they have been taught by their leaders, or have come to believe to be true.

With that in mind, I want you to consider these questions. Why is it that so many people have moved away from reading and prayerfully studying the scripture for themselves? Why is it that so many people have cast off restraint, resist authority and have rejected government at any level? Why is it that structure and leadership are looked upon as both unnecessary and deleterious? Why is it, in a time when we have more revelation knowledge and a greater understanding of the Scripture, that we are so powerless to affect change, or make any noticeable difference in the worlds in which we live? All of these questions and more I will attempt to answer over the next few months.

I realize that my questions almost sound like a contradiction in light of what I have already written; but the truth is that many believers in the 21st century American Church System are being led astray and away from the sound doctrine and teaching of the Scripture, and that by a number of very deceptive tactics and demonic strategies. Now, I assure you that some of them may not be rooted in deception tactics, and they may not be an intentional attempt to overthrow the faith and belief system of young believers; but I have watched, observed and waited until now to address something that most certainly has and will continue to produce death in the lives of this generation. We have a choice to make. We will either do something now to reverse the damage that has already been done, or I fear that there will be no one left in this country to save or disciple. That in itself is the strategy of the defeated one who is doing everything within his limited power to keep all of us from the truth that will make us freer.

What I am saying is, this nation could be lost to the truth of gospel of the Kingdom forever, and they will have been deceived by another gospel and led away by another Spirit. I am praying and calling for a deliberate return to the foundational truths of the Scripture, and the clear proclamation of the simple Gospel of the Kingdom.

I declare and make it known to you today that I am going to expose every falsehood and teaching that is diluting and contaminating the truth of the Scripture, and I will do so in a way that calls for repentance and a return to the fundamental basics of the Word of Yahweh. I am doing this for the purpose of bringing correction to those who need it, and to present a more balanced view of the truth that we all say we love. I also want to make it clear that if I continue to hear and see the scripture twisted and perverted by the well meaning leaders with whom I am associated, that I will be making notes and stating facts in the future that will be enlightening and liberating to some. I caution you to rethink some of the things that you have begun to embrace as truth because they could continue to produce weakness and death in the people under your care. I challenge you to remember that they are not your people anyway. They are Yahweh’s people, and He has positioned leaders and elders out here to watch for them from a distance. We are not going away. We will not be limited by your rejection or control. We are a part of the house that Yahshua is building and we are the voice of one crying in the wilderness. We will be watching and listening. Lastly, we are all going to give an account to Yahweh for what we release, speak and teach in our lifetime. If you think that I may be talking about something you are teaching, you might want to consider that I am not talking about the insignificant or unimportant differences that we may have. I am talking about the doctrine of Devils that continues to poison the pot from which the people eat on a weekly basis, and a secular and liberal world view that continues to corrupt the message that we are hearing. It is not my part or place to speak to everything with which I disagree; but I promise you that I am going to speak to and expose every false teaching. The power of the pen will reach thousands before you realize why your following is diminishing and your strength is going away.

To show you how twisted and perverted the hearts and minds of people have become, all we have to do is look at what they call “doing church.” If that does not short circuit you senses, then listen to what they claim the Spirit is saying to the church.

The American Church System has effectively produced the most infirm and impotent generation of believers that I have ever encountered. The message and doctrine that they have been taught is so weak and diluted that if a true believer were to partake of it, they would become anemic to the point of malnutrition and death.

Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that, which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, if any man, preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed.

Lastly, I want to emphatically say, that I fully embrace and whole heartedly adhere to the truth contained in both the older and newer testaments of The Bible. The Bible is a book of Yahweh’s Word and His dealings with mankind for more than 6000 years. The cannon of the Scriptures are not solely based on the literal interpretation of the original text or manuscripts. I personally believe that original text was written first in Hebrew, and that you would have to know and understand Hebrew in order to know everything that was written in that language. I do not believe that bad theology or the philosophy of men made its way into the Greek, Latin, German, or English translations of The Bible. However, I do believe that the meaning of the Scripture is lost until by the Spirit we receive understanding. The Spirit of Truth has not been lost through the omissions, deletions or misquotations of the translators.
